. they do, however, believe she's no longer in central florida. when she left the jail, you saw the big crowds there. there were people yelling "killer" in that crowd as she got into the suv and left. there is a great deal of emotion still unresolved around this case. we saw a lot of people getting together who were doing something peaceful with those emotions over the weekend. they went to the site where caylee anthony's body was discovered and held a march from that site to the anthony home. all to remember the child whose death started all of this. it was a very solemn occasion. a lot of people walking in the street. at one point it was reported there were cars lined up on the road about a half mile long of people just parking on the roadside going into those woods where her body was discovered to go to that spot and remember that little girl. again, a great deal of emotion. people trying to process all of this on their own. but casey anthony at the moment is still staying out of the public eye even though she has a lot of legal entanglements she will still have to address in the mon

. the big mistaking that had people thinking they had gotten the bargain of the year. >>> but first, here are your options. resign or be fired. that is the ultimatum that was just given to nearly 200 educators tied to one of the largest school cheating scandals in u.s. history. it was just over a week ago, a state investigation revealed 178 teachers, including 38 principals, woulding at 44 schools cheated for students on standardized tests in atlanta. on monday, interim superintendent erroll davis replaced four superintendents and one principal in the atlanta public school scandal. now a letter has been sent to the 178 teachers, principals and administrators who were on the state investigative report as either confessing to or being implicated in the cheating. davis has ordered that educators resign by next wednesday or they will face termination. he says the culture inside the school district has to change. >> people failed children, they cheated. and we can't allow that to happen and we can't allow anyone who was involved with that to remain in our system. >> now, staff replacement may

.d also a song >> we've got another beautiful day at central park. another big crowd gathering. can't wait to get to that but a lot of news so right to that collision on the taxiway in boston last night. hundreds of passengers evacuated after the wing of a delta jumbo jet clipped the tail of another jet just months after a similar collision here in new york and abc's lisa stark is tracking this overnight. good morning, lisa. >> reporter: well, it was two delta flights, both loaded with fuel ready for takeoff. one rams into the other. it could have been much worse. this photo taken from inside the 767 clearly shows the damage. the wing tip of the jumbo jet sliced apart. the tail of the regional plane badly mangled. >> people were freaking out. the girl next to me was right by the wing crying and trying to jump on the emergency exit for a little bit. >> everybody said, what happened? >> reporter: it was still light out, around 7:30 last night when the planes collided. the regional jet apparently turned on to a taxiway perpendicular to the taxiway that the 767 was traveling on. the delta 767

was the scene like outside? we're showing some of the video here, people had signs up but how big of a crowd, how rowdy of a crowd? >> reporter: there were hundreds of people out there. the emotions seemed to be just the same as what we had seen outside the courthouse, particularly after the verdict was read. this time there was a sense of a moment, a crescendo of emotion right there at the moment of release. people gathered there just for anticipating that event, they were prepared to shout the things they had been thinking about for the past couple of weeks. it was that moment, everything did transpire peacefully, again, there was a heavy police presence. there were a lot of officers on horseback to make sure the crowd stayed where they were supposed to stay and the suv casey anthony was in was able to leave without any problems what sofr. this transpired in a matter of seconds. she walked out, she got into a vehicle, the vehicle sped away on to the expressway. minutes after that, the hundreds of people that were there dispersed and presumably went home. >> david mattingly, we appreciate i

examined all the pieces of a potential big deal, spending cuts, entitlement reforms, savings from the tax cut and employment insurance. the big deal is his preference but he'd accept a small $2 trillion deal. there's also a proposal by senators harry reid and mitch mcconnell to give the president the authority to extend the debt ceiling through 2012 without the consent. >> he described it as a last ditch effort in case we're unable to do anything else and what may look like something less than optimal today if we're unable to get to an agreement might look pretty good a couple of weeks from now. >> reporter: that fallback agreement is looking more and more likely. sources say that the person who made the most of the argument on wednesday, eric cantor, didn't even open his mouth yesterday in the meeting, and they say that they expect things to move forward, but they don't know how fast. there's no meeting today, but we will hear from the president at a news conference later this morning. >> bill, thanks. we will be carrying that news conference for you here on cbss apart of our special cov

that president obama told congressional leaders in the room last night that he still wants the big deal. $4 trillion in deficit reduction over the next ten years. speaker john boehner says he wants to, too. but there's no path to get there. the clclk is ticking. the major sticking point, whether it's a large part of tax reform, wages on top wage earners go up. democrats say speaker b bhner agreed to put on the table letting the tax cuts for the wealthiest americans expire. but then could not take the heat from his republican caucus. >> this is serious stuff. we've got to be able to deliver on this promise. and i'll make sure that's done and no tax increases. >> reporter: republicans say that the problem is president obama hahabeen unable to bring his own party around to own entitlement spending medicare medicaid, social security, that he put on the table. tick tock. the goal is to reach an agreement in the next couple of weeks so that the law can be written and passed before the deadline of august 2nd, that's when the federal government is slated to run out of money. w

, and i would say let's go back to basics. when you have a big problem, you go back to the basics where you have to start to solve a problem, and the basics are a budget. if we can agree on a budget, and, heck, i think we all agree that if we get one on the floor, there's going to be a lot of amendments. there's going to be a lot of amendments to a budget resolution. let's get started. let's use this week to produce a budget resolution, and let's start having the amendments about spending levels, about spending priority. that will be a way that we can start the process of determining if we can, in fact, lift the debt ceiling because there are significant cuts in the spending in this country that would show the rest of the world that is holding our debt as well as the american people who are living with this government and holding part of the debt that we're serious, that we are going to get our financial house in order, and we're going to do it with a budget resolution that cuts spending and sets priorities like every family and every business in this country are required to do, and mos

. there have been some pretty big on along the way. and it has to do with entrance into the u.s. as a country, as a political system, again, through immigration. pushing the tombolo out from the standpoint of the majority, established community -- pushing the envelope from the standpoint of the majority, establish community, again, i will take the perspective of irish catholics. again, because of my family's migration from europe. this was profoundly unsettling to the mainstream astonishment. there were, indeed, not only tensions and conflicts, but violence in places like philadelphia. the original campus of michael modern -- of my alma mater was torture the ground. the precipitating reason had to do with bible reading in the public schools and whether catholic kids would be allowed to read their version rather than the king james version. this was such an affront to the astonishment that there were riots in the street. the national guard had to call out -- be called out to put down the rebellion. it has been a steady revolution, but a revolution nonetheless. obviously, post 65 immigration, j
